Danica vs Milka – Round 1
This weekend, Danica Patrick and Milka Duno apparently had a few choice words for each other.
Following the Friday afternoon practice session, Danica stomped over to Milka’s garage. Danica said something along the lines of, “do you even know what you’re doing out there?” Which, not surprisingly, offended Milka.
Duno had been using a towel to wipe the sweat from her brow but, following Danica’s insult, decided to throw the towel at Danica. From there, words continued to be exchanged. Milka allegedly told Danica she was not welcome in her garage, and Danica refused to leave.
There could be some coverage of it during today’s race as it was reported the altercation was filmed and the footage being turned in to ESPN.
Also, 40% chance of isolated thunderstorms today at 1:00p.m. (the race’s start time).

This incident was a little blown out of proportion with rumours that Danica spat on Milka, but it highlights the fact that Danica think she can do whatever she wants because she is popular. At some point the IRL will have to either put their foot down or tolerate this kind of thing from all the drivers. Danica is a talented driver but she keeps getting distracted by her temper. She needs to calm down and concentrate on her driving.

I Think the attitude towards Danica is presumptive. If you listen she was trying to tell Milka where she was driving the wrong racing line. I think she has a bigger picture in mind that it’s good for the sport if they both do well. Remember Danica has led( and now won) a few races. As I think Milka(whom I think is a great person on several levels) can only do well to listen to all the experienced IRL drivers for advice, including Danica. No body benefits from having contact on the racetrack.
